According to ThinkSecret, Steve Jobs held a company-wide town hall today and announced that Apple employees will get free 8GB iPhones this July. Steve Jobs spoke to the entire company on the eve of the iPhone launch about the gravity of the iPhone and what it means to the company. He also alluded to some crazy things coming down the pipeline, such as new Macs that are “off the charts” and hinted at iPods with OS X.[...] Thanks to bentoman for providing this nice story on Digg (more than 1735 Diggs).

No one really knows where Steve’s going to appear on iDay, but we’ve confirmed with multiple sources at Apple that tomorrow morning at 11:00AM he’ll be giving an all-hands “Town Hall” iPhone mini-Stevenote for employees only — so obviously we’re not invited.[...] Thanks to MrBabyMan for providing this nice story on Digg (more than 1092 Diggs).

An editor at the Birmingham News, has found a truly unique use for his Mac mini.
