Anything less is a disappointment,

ButtonDownBobby: I always figured that if apple would place wifi in the iPod and link it to appleTV. Carry you movies and tv shows around in your pocket but go home or to your friends house and watch it on a larger screen. (possibly even bypassing the hdDVD and Blue-Ray war if they can up the resolution on their content) The iPod could be even used as a smart remote.

ButtonDownBobby: I always thought that if they add WiFi to the iPod then you should be able to link it to appleTV. Carry around your movie collection on your hard drive and possibly even use it as a smart remote for appleTV.

johnrohan: There already is one. It’s called the Palm TX, and it can do anything an iPhone can, even better. The only drawback is that it had far less internal memory, but unlike the iPhone, you can use SD cards with it.

Personally, I couldn’t give two craps about the device, and would be quite happy if I never have to hear or read the word “iPhone” anywhere again - unlikely I know :’( . Die iPhone, die!!
