The Engadget Interview: Phil Schiller, Apple Senior VP of Worldwide Product

arbiterofcool“At this week’s Apple event we got a rare chance to speak with one of the most well regarded and tight-lipped veeps in the biz, Apple’s Phil Schiller.”[…] Thanks to arbiterofcool for providing this nice story on Digg.

What other users say about this:

PANTONE285: Hahahaha cool 1995 yearbook photo. Wow, a “text” interview. How 70’s.

strain: great questions, bad answers. I don’t think i learned a single thing.

YEMandy: sounds like a dick

modifiedbears: What a worthless interview.

tucsonwc: pretty boring and uninformative. Phil just parroting the Apple party line. “Web 2.0” apps, blah blah blah. No comments on sim unlocking.

maxputer: I think the interviewer was an ass, a perfect example of the general conceit that has made engadget a pain to read for years! IMO. What a waste of Phil’s time… and mine reading it.

bradym80: “Apple Announces that you are all going to die!”

arctic: Some how I knew this would hit front page, after I had already seen it on Engadget…

Klitzy: Phil makes me feel awkward…

rheaume: Me: Can you transfer songs from user to user with the Touch’s WIFI?

Phil: No.

Me: Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune

Fan Website, mentioned in question one

goodbeershow: What does Michael Vic painting a ceiling and the new Ipods have in common?

They all coverflow!

Nogger: Phil, the mirror-man, deflecting questions like shine iMac display…

colincornaby: I liked how they asked Phil the heavy hitting questions, but c’mon, they should have known not to ask some of those questions. Apple never answers questions on future products, and that seemed like a great way to get the interview cut short, which it actually sounds like may have happened…
